5 stars: Food is wonderful -- have tried almost the entire menu at this point and there is no wasted items. I've been coming here before catching the train and the staff is incredibly accommodating. The perfect ambiance for a new jersey diner. Looking forward to coming back, forgot to take a photo when I got there but took the steak to go. Generous portions I couldn't finish. -Sean
I wish I could give them more than 5 🌟. The place is easily noticeable from a moving car, and tyne have free parking. This family owned business is one of the best local restaurants in NJ. Their home-made food quality is on top. Tyne staff (which some of them are the owners) are absolutely awesome. Prices are reasonable. They had an outdoor seating but it was off the day I went. From tyne specials menu, I ordered the Sphinx breakfast which was very good and my wife ordered the French toast that she said was very yummy. Everything tasted fresh, clean and like homemade. Ashraf (the owner) offered me an Egyptian traditional vegan dish called koshari that tasted amazing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back to try more items from their menu. The food portions are generous for the price and the soups that come with the entrees for lunch is so delicious. Tried the shrimp pita and the Egyptian borek, also bought some baklava and coconut delicacy that was to die for!
Went there with family on a rainy day. This is an Egyptian family run restaurant where the father is the chef and we were served by his daughters. The service was super good. They were very nice in explaining their specialities. We started off with their Turkish coffee followed by Sphynx Breakfast, Shoukshuka and Strawberry/Banana/Nutella pancakes.. We had a side of Egyptian sausages which were amazing too. I highly recommend the place for it's food and service.
Iced tea and lemonade and got the hummus and babaganoosh as apps. We had the spinach pie and Mediterranean tuna avocado toast. Superb and Sarah provided super service.
Stopped in after another breakfast spot had a long wait. Checked on google and this spot showed up. Decided to give it a try and so glad we did! Their breakfast was Delicious. My kids had pancakes of course and they loved them. My husband had the pastrami sandwich, which came with fries. My son had the chicken salad salad sandwich from the chef special menu. My brother had their bacon, mushroom and Swiss burger. I had a breakfast platter with 2 eggs, home fries and turkey ham. The portions are generously large :) The staff is friendly. The place is not big, but we didn’t wait at all this time. Will definitely return :)
Westfield Station Cafe is truly a Westfield gem! The food was absolutely amazing I enjoyed it so much that I had to go back the following week with my boyfriend. Everything was delicious, and you can really feel the love that goes into the food. The owner, Ash, and his family’s hospitality were outstanding. Highly recommend!
Such an amazing little gem Greek and Egyptian food!! Great food made by the owner Ash, this spot is a great mom and pop place that really goes over the top to please their clients. My husband and I were very impressed. Greek Salad with chicken (big portion), gyro, and all was amazing! The hours just changed 9am-8pm saturday and 9-3 sunday..... The owner had no problem changing the dish to accommodate my picky son....
The place is a little run down, but service and food are excellent. I got the banana French toast, which had fresh banana and generous toppings. Not too crisp not too soft, not too sweet either. It was such a great French toast for those who want something sweet leaning but not cloying. The avocado toast with tuna on top was also excellent. The tuna salad especially tasted fresh and seasoned nicely. The food was great, I would visit here again.
I’ve been to westfield station cafe many times before, but this is my first time trying the new menu, and it’s DELICIOUS. I had their dubai style kunafa pancakes, and the smashed cheeseburger. Everything is homemade, even the pickles were. I can’t recommend this place enough, the workers are so kind, it’s family owned, definitely come here!!!
